The Clarkson Knife Gate Valve, manufactured by Emerson, is engineered for demanding slurry and abrasive fluid applications. Designed with a full port, bidirectional shut-off, and rugged construction, this valve is ideal for mining, chemical processing, wastewater treatment, and pulp & paper industries.One of the standout features of this valve is its resilient seat design, which ensures tight sealing even in high-cycling or abrasive environments. The valve is available in sizes ranging from DN50 to DN600 (2″ to 24″), with pressure ratings up to 150 psi (10 bar) and temperature tolerance up to 230°C (445°F).The body is typically flanged according to ASME 150, PN10/16, or AS 2129 standards, making it compatible with global piping systems. The actuator options include manual handwheel, pneumatic cylinder, or electric motor, depending on the process requirements.While the term Clarkson Knife Gate Valve is often used to describe the Figure 952 model, Emerson also offers variants with enhanced corrosion resistance, high-temperature trims, and custom coatings for aggressive media.
